About Melissa

Melissa is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) and holds a B.Comm Degree from the Asper School of Business. Instilled with the values of hard work, strategic thinking and entrepreneurial spirit from her grandfather, and Westyn & Co.’s namesake, Wesley, Melissa is passionate about helping business owners stay up-to-date and make sense of their numbers. For Melissa, it’s about more than just making sure your books are balanced. It’s what you do with that information that’s empowering. It’s also why Melissa is an active member of the Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada and attends conferences, workshops and group masterminds to stay at the forefront of her craft. 

For over 13 years, Melissa has been helping customers feel empowered by their financials—as prior to founding Westyn & Co. in 2023, Melissa was a co-owner at CertPro Accounting Team Inc.
